Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase 2026: A recap

Highlights from the 2026 edition of Europe's largest college tennis recruiting event

We celebrate another successful Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase! Our 2026 edition in Frankfurt, Germany, once again demonstrated why it is Europe’s leading recruiting event for players dreaming of earning a tennis scholarship in the US.

Impressive showcase numbers and a new venue

With a brand-new venue and a full weekend of match play, the 2026 Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase delivered both on and off the court. The numbers speak for themselves:

  • 101 players took part
  • 136 college coaches attended (in person and virtually)
  • 186 matches were played

For the first time, the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase was hosted at the Hessischer Tennis-Verband in Offenbach (Frankfurt), Germany. The venue offers 12 outdoor courts and four indoor courts, providing the perfect setting for a college tennis recruiting event featuring players from across Europe alongside college tennis coaches from the US.

As every showcase match was recorded and streamed via the platform, coaches who were unable to attend in person in Frankfurt could still watch the action and recruit remotely.

Stefan Krämer, Events Manager, commented:

“We’ve experienced a fantastic event at our new facility at Hessischer Tennis-Verband in Frankfurt a.M. (Offenbach). Bringing more than 100 players from 19 different nations together to showcase their skills in an all-US college tennis event experience fills us with pride.”

Prep Day highlights

As is Showcase tradition, the event began on 9 July with Prep Day. This gave players the opportunity to take part in additional activities designed to help them prepare for both the showcase and their college tennis recruiting journey.

Through workshops and presentations delivered by college coaches and current student-athletes, players gained valuable insight into what it is really like to compete in college tennis – and what it takes to get there.

They also took part in training sessions led by NCAA Division I coaches: Rod Ray from Wofford College (men’s tennis) and Ruth Seaborne from the University of Maryland (women’s tennis). These sessions gave players a genuine taste of what training is like as part of a college team.

To round off Prep Day, participants also received an additional UTR match on top of the three guaranteed matches during the showcase itself.

Three days of UTR-verified match play

With the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase officially getting under way on Friday, the courts were busy from morning until early evening. The showcase brings players and coaches together in one place, creating one of the few opportunities for aspiring student-athletes to impress coaches in person.

UTR is one of the most important metrics in college tennis recruiting. That’s why every player at the Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase was guaranteed three UTR-verified matches. This gave players the opportunity not only to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches but also to strengthen their UTR rating.

In addition, every match was recorded, giving players valuable footage to use in another key part of the recruiting process: their highlight video.

Building connections with college coaches

UTR ratings, highlight videos and tennis ability all play an important role—but building relationships with college coaches is just as valuable.

The showcase creates an environment that encourages genuine conversations between coaches, players and their families. It gives players the opportunity to introduce themselves face to face while also learning more about a coach’s programme, their university and what life would be like as part of their team.

Showcase activities away from the court

Beyond the matches, the showcase featured presentations and sessions led by college coaches, current student-athletes and the Keystone Sports team. These gave players and their families a behind-the-scenes look at college tennis – the kind of insight that is difficult to find anywhere else. Topics ranged from what a typical week looks like for a student-athlete to how coaches make their recruiting decisions.

Saturday evening concluded with the Showcase BBQ. Players, coaches, families and the Keystone Sports team came together for an evening of food, conversation and networking away from the courts.

On Sunday, the final day of the showcase, the focus shifted to completing the remaining matches and making the most of one last opportunity to impress the attending coaches.

Reflecting on the event, Stefan Krämer added:

“These days and the feedback we’ve received so far show the huge impact of the Keystone Sports Tennis Showcase in Germany on international recruiting. A huge thank you to everyone involved both on and off the court!”

Thank you from Keystone Sports

The Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase 2026 has officially come to an end, and what an incredible edition it was!

As one player’s parent shared:

“My son loved every minute of the showcase and has come away feeling completely inspired to aim for the best US college he can get. It’s been a brilliant experience for him.”

One of our players also said:

“I’d like to say a big thank you for the event and for giving me the opportunity to play. I feel I’ve learnt a great deal about my own tennis and the college pathway, and I will definitely recommend the event to my friends in the future.”

Hearing feedback like this reminds us why we do what we do. We are delighted that so many players and their families found the showcase both inspiring and valuable as they continue their college tennis journey.

A huge thank you from everyone at Keystone Sports to all the participating players, college coaches, supportive families and partners for making this year’s showcase such a success. We look forward to welcoming you back for the 2027 Keystone Sports College Tennis Showcase!
